Our Founder
Tuebur Rahman
I come from Jajori village, a place often called the second Sualkuchi of Assam rich in weaving tradition, yet struggling to find its place in the modern market. For generations, our artisans have crafted exquisite Pator Sador, Mekhela Chador, and brightly colored Gomochas. But without proper market access, their skills remained hidden, and their livelihoods uncertain. Nearly 70% of the women in our village depend on weaving. It’s not just a craft it’s their identity, their strength, and their source of income. I started jajorihandloom.in to change that. Through digital marketing and direct-to-customer outreach, we’re building a bridge between these artisans and the world that deserves to see their work.
